August Antiques & Interiors Sale
An Edward VII five pounds piece, 1902. Illustrated
As far as we can tell, it is a currency issue coin, although the fields of the coin are of a semi-matt like appearance, so there is the possibility that it is an impaired matt proof issue, as a result of handling marks resulting in minor surface nicks and scratches to both obverse and reverse. It is diffcult to tell one way or another the fields of the coin do not have a high polish. There is no case.
