Autumn Fine Auction

A large Khorasan copper-inlaid bronze ewer, Persia, 12th century, with slightly flared cyindrical body, flat shoulder, the conical neck rising to a covered spout, with associated strap handle, the body engraved with palmette and scrolling vine-filled medallions below bands of kufic inscription with crescents between, 41cm. high.
