A Napoleon III ormolu and tortoiseshell barometer and thermometer
In the manner of André-Charles Boulle, circa 1870
Surmounted by a pair of winged seated putti, the 7in. circular white painted dial with a convex glass and moulded bezel, supported on two winged cherub caryatids, above the square-shaped tapering stem, with thermometer scale (glass tube lacking), the acanthus-cast base with pineapple terminal
