A brass Gothic-style striking skeleton clock
By Cox, Islington, circa 1850

With well pierced plates, six screwed tapering pillars, silvered chapter ring, signed 'Cox, Islington', the wheels with six crossings, chain drive twin fusées with anchor escapement, with brass shot-filled cylindrical pendulum bob, steel rod, striking the hour on a gong, raised on four turned feet, on a replacement ebonised base and glass dome, (1 pendulum).

The movement 32cm high; 42cm high overall. Illustrated
