A silver reproduction Treasury Inkstand, Richard Comyns, London 1938, rectangular with twin divided hinged covers, one enclosing a pair of glass inkwells, hinged carrying handle, on four claw feet, 24 x 16.5cm, 43ozs.
Illustrated.

Condition report

Required a good clean and polish, particularly on the inside.
Stands solidly square, no wobbling.
Hinges good, no splits.
Marks good though makers mark slightly mis-struck.
The glass inkwells have been ground down around the holes, not sure if this is/was original. Some minor chips and wear and tear.
