A George III silver twin cased, openfaced, key wind gentleman's calendar pocket watch, the gilt fusee movement with a verge escapement, scroll pierced and engraved balance cock, detailed to the backplate Geo Allen, London, 397, the enamelled dial with black Roman hour numerals, black Arabic minute numerals to 60 and with a date of the month indication to 31 in Arabic numerals, indicated by a blued steel hand, the inner and outer case London 1780, with a key.

Condition Report
The case hallmark is London 1820. The watch is currently working, dial has one or two tiny chips to the edge, otherwise in good condition, hour and minute hands do not quite match, top bow looks to be re-soldered into position, case exterior otherwise in good condition, top suspension is a bit worn.
